MMESOMA, a 16-year-old girl who was prohibited from taking JAMB for three years after allegedly fabricating her results, has been trending on social media for obvious reasons! Recall that in 2023, Mmesoma claimed to have scored 362 in the UTME, but JAMB denied her claim, accused her of fabricating her results, and prevented her from taking the UTME for three years.
The examination body stated that she received a score of 249, not 362. Mmesoma and her parents attempted to clear her name, but later admitted to fabricating her results during an investigation by an eight-member commission appointed by Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo.
She admitted to having given a manipulated result by herself unaided, using the same phone Airtel Number.
“According to her, she proceeded to the cybercafé (Prisca Global Computers, Uruagu, Nnewi) where she printed the results she had manipulated.
“The Committee tried to find out the motive behind her action, but Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma said nothing.
Gov Soludo of Anambra state sent her to a psychotherapist for a three-month guidance and counselling.
Netizens are now saying Mmesoma and her parents were probably bvllied into admitting to that wrongdoing.
