The Lagos State Police Command has disciplined an officer who was caught abusing an Uber driver in a viral video. The incident, which took place on a Lagos highway, shows the police physically dealing with the driver while the vehicle was moving, creating major safety concerns. The officer was identified as a member of the Mosafejo Division.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer, denounced both the officer and the driver’s behavior, claiming that both were careless.
