The Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) is now holding Apostle Amos Isah, the founder of Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry in Gwagwalada, Abuja, on serious charges of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl and taking advantage of weaker women in his congregation.
Given Isah’s public image as a dynamic preacher known for his teachings on holiness and moral integrity, the startling accusations have provoked widespread indignation.
Isah was taken into custody on June 23, 2025, after a 14-year-old girl accused him of sexually assaulting her in the church’s recently built theater.
The victim’s family claims that after performing a prayer ceremony, the pastor raped the minor after luring her in under false pretenses and locking her in the building.
He allegedly gave her ₦3,000 for “medication” and threatened to kill her and her family if she spoke out. The police have denied Isah bail, citing the severity of the allegations, and are awaiting legal advice before proceeding with prosecution.
Investigations have uncovered a disturbing pattern of alleged predatory behavior. Sources claim Isah frequently targeted underage girls, often taking them to secluded areas in his tinted-window car, raising concerns about a broader pattern of abuse within his ministry.
The scandal deepened with leaked audio recordings obtained by SaharaReporters on June 26, 2025, revealing a bitter feud between Isah and David, a former church protocol officer. David accused the pastor of attempting to seduce his wife, engaging in spiritual manipulation, and trying to destroy his marriage under the guise of “prophetic counsel.” In the audio, David claimed Isah frequently messaged his wife on WhatsApp, asking inappropriate questions like, “Do you want me or love?” He also alleged that the pastor threatened to involve the police against his wife, describing it as an abuse of spiritual and civil authority.
In a fiery message, David warned Isah, stating, “Your secrets have been exposed. Everything you have done concerning my destiny on your evil altar has been revealed. My wife is not like the other women you have slept with. If you want peace, call me to settle this, or you are doomed—not just in Gwagwalada, but worldwide.” He further accused Isah of exploiting vulnerable women in the church, using fear tactics and prophetic manipulation to control them.
In a separate audio, a voice believed to be Isah’s retaliated, accusing David’s wife, Mrs. David, of witchcraft and attempting to destroy his ministry through “marine kingdom visions.” He challenged her alleged prophecies, claiming she was motivated by money and influence from other pastors. Isah further alleged that Mrs. David had claimed God instructed her to leave her husband to marry him, accusations she vehemently denied.
Mrs. David responded with her own audio message, accusing Isah of spiritual exploitation and emotional coercion. She claimed the pastor tried to turn her against her husband and manipulate her into a relationship. “I came to you for prayers for my marriage, but you gossiped and spoke against my husband,” she said. She credited her deliverance from another church for helping her see through Isah’s alleged manipulation. Mrs. David also denied claims that Isah prayed for her to conceive, stating, “God, in His own power, gave me my child.” She accused the pastor of soliciting personal favors, including meals, during her pregnancy and warned him to stay away from her family.
The allegations against Apostle Amos Isah have sent shockwaves through Gwagwalada and beyond, with many questioning how a preacher known for advocating moral integrity could be implicated in such serious crimes. The FCID continues to investigate the rape allegations and the claims of spiritual and marital manipulation, as more victims may come forward.
