The eagerly awaited 10th season of Big Brother Naija has officially begun and is already changing the rules.
The first 15 housemates revealed during the live debut are all female, which is a daring turn of events for the reality TV phenomenon.
Actresses, DJs, therapists, chefs, entrepreneurs, and content creators are among the eclectic group, which spans from 21 to 37 years of age and comes from various regions of Nigeria.
As they vie for the ₦150 million grand prize, each competitor offers a distinct blend of skill, ambition, and personality.
Although male housemates are expected to join the game in the coming days, the spotlight currently shines solely on the women, setting the tone for what promises to be a season full of surprises, strategy, and standout moments.
Organizers also announced a major revamp to the show’s format. Unlike previous seasons where the grand prize was awarded in full at the finale, this year’s ₦150 million will be earned in installments, rewarding consistency, influence, and strategic gameplay each week.
Another change sees the traditional Head of House challenge moved to Sundays, with a follow-up task scheduled for Mondays — an adjustment designed to keep tensions high and house dynamics constantly shifting.
As the women settle into the new BBNaija house, viewers across the continent are already buzzing with excitement and anticipation for the next twists. With the men yet to be introduced and a revamped prize system in place, Season 10 is shaping up to be unlike any other.

8. Sabrina, 32 – Actor and entrepreneur from Edo State. A royal by birth, she holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
9. Gigi Jasmine, 25 – DJ and former OAP from Lagos. Described as calm but capable of making loud moves.
10. Thelma Lawson, 26 – Skincare entrepreneur from Rivers State and mother of one. She promises to be the life of the party.
11. Imisi, 23 – Fashion designer and actress from Oyo State. Bold, outspoken, and ready to be seen and remembered.
12. Ibifubara – Therapist and creative from Rivers State. Soft-spoken but deep, she’s bringing both clarity and vibes.
13. Isabella – Seductress and mother of a 14-year-old from Rivers State. Says she relates more with men than women.
