The Senate has suggested giving N200 million to the family of 2-year-old Ivan Onose Omhonrina, who was unintentionally shot dead on July 13, 2023, when National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) agents raided an infamous drug joint in Delta State. When NDLEA agents stormed the drug store in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local
Government Area, the state’s late Onose and his younger brother, Eronmosele, were shot in their mother’s store.
One of the cops’ stray bullets struck Onose’s midsection and narrowly missed his brother Eromonsele’s eye. Ivan was tragically unable to survive the operation that was performed on the victims after they were taken to the FMC.
