Today, we celebrate a major milestone with the commissioning of seven completed road projects across over eight communities in Badagry Local Government and Olorunda LCDA. These roads,
spanning 16 km, are game-changers that unlock access to markets, schools, health centres, and cultural heritage sites. The Samuel Ekundayo-Toga Road stands out, transformed from a single lane to a dual carriageway with proper drainage, easing congestion around Limca, Ibereko, and the Badagry Roundabout. We’ve also upgraded Hospital Road, enhancing access to the Agbalata Market, Nigeria’s First Storey Building, the Heritage Museum, and other historic sites that showcase Badagry’s rich legacy. As a gateway to West Africa, Badagry has vast potential for tourism and cross-border trade. Our goal is to ensure no community feels left behind, pushing development deeper into our neighbourhoods. While some areas await completion, we’re committed to seeing it through. Good infrastructure is the backbone of opportunity, creating access and empowering communities to thrive. This is just the beginning for Badagry.
