Paul Okoye, the singer of the now-defunct P-Square group Rudeboy, has criticized up-and-coming musicians for what he views as an unhealthy and needless trend:
using marijuana in front of the camera, particularly during visualizer videos. Rudeboy posed the following query in a social media post: He advised them to eat healthier and quit thinking it’s cool, writing,
“You’re sm*king 50k w**d and battling 1k Indomie without egg.” He voiced worries about their priorities and general health, pointing out that many of them appear ill and undernourished, perhaps as a result of spending a lot of money on smoking but not being able to buy a healthy meal.
His comments seem to be a wake-up call to younger artists to set better examples and take care of themselves, as well as a critique of lifestyle choices.
The comment has sparked mixed reactions online — some praising him for speaking up, others accusing him of being judgmental.
