- SMA Foundation Announces Guidelines for Allocation of 400 Free GCE Forms in Badagry
The Samuel Mawuyon Ajose Foundation has published official guidelines for the distribution of 400 free General Certificate Examination (GCE) forms to socioeconomically disadvantaged students across the Badagry Federation. This initiative is part of the foundation’s 2025 educational support program, aimed at ensuring that financial constraints do not limit academic opportunities for young people in the area. To be eligible for the free forms, applicants must reside in the Badagry Federation. Current SS3 students are required to submit their latest third-term promotion results, while school leavers must provide a recent WAEC or NECO result (including those who did not pass).
The foundation highlighted that the selection process will be fair and unbiased, with no discrimination based on gender, religion, or political affiliation. Applicants must, however, be at least 16 years old. Distribution and screening will be carried out through the three councils in the federation — Badagry Local Government, Badagry West LCDA, and Olorunda LCDA — between September 1 and 7, 2025. This follows the earlier announcement of the foundation’s ₦10.8 million investment in education, through which the 400 GCE forms were procured.
