Following weeks of friction on the internet, actress Angela Okorie is adopting a new tone. She publicly apologized to Mercy Johnson and Senator Ned Nwoko and shared her recent reflections in an emotional Instagram post today.
Remember In addition to dragging Regina Daniels and her husband Ned Nwoko online, Angela Okorie had earlier accused Mercy Johnson of having a serious illness. Angela now claims that she has given it some thought and that she regrets allowing her feelings to control her.
“I speak from the heart, especially when I feel hurt… but I realise now that my utterances, whether from pain or not, were hurtful,” she said, addressing Mercy directly and asking for forgiveness.
She also extended an apology to Senator Ned Nwoko, acknowledging that her public reaction to what she called an “unprovoked attack” came from a bad place and wasn’t respectful.
