In response to persistent rumors regarding his personal life, Nollywood star Timini Egbuson has made it apparent that he is not a womanizer.
Speaking in a recent Instagram post of The Culture League podcast on Saturday, which also included comedian Bovi and Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface, the 38-year-old actor clarified that romantic distractions are rarely possible due to his hectic schedule and current priorities.
Many people believe that I am a womanizer. However, I’m not. With the exception of you being the most irresponsible [to womanize], Nollywood has taken over my life in the last two or three years,” he remarked.
Egbuson revealed that he has been single for the last two to three years, noting how his daily routine barely allows time for anything beyond work.
“I even wonder how some of my friends who womanise, date four or five girls simultaneously, have time to attend to all of them. Because from being on set all day to getting back tired at 11 pm, I will now start chatting a lady? I don’t have the capacity for that. So, I’m not in the street as people may think I am,” he added.
Despite the misconceptions, Egbuson said he isn’t bothered, admitting that he actually enjoys the “bad boy” image the public has attached to him.
