The widow of the late Dr. Sunny Ajose, Mrs. Arinola Ajose, has expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for dedicating a 420-unit housing estate to her late husband’s memory, who was the Badagry Apex Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
We express our heartfelt appreciation to our esteemed Governor for this thoughtful and well-deserved recognition.
By naming this housing estate after my late husband, the Governor has paid a worthy tribute to his memory and preserved his legacy for generations to come,” she said.
She added that the gesture reflects the respect and admiration the Governor has for those who have served Lagos State with dedication and integrity. “The immortalization of Dr.
Ajose’s name is a source of pride and inspiration to his family, friends, and colleagues.
It reminds us of the remarkable impact he made in the community and the many lives he touched through his selfless service,” Mrs. Ajose said.
On behalf of the family, she expressed heartfelt appreciation to Governor Sanwo-Olu for the noble gesture and prayed for God’s continued wisdom and strength upon him as he steers Lagos State towards greater heights.
She also thanked Lagos residents for their love and support, noting that the honour bestowed upon her late husband reflects the deep respect people have for his legacy.

Sunny Ajose was a distinguished public servant and politician who served as a member of the Lagos State Executive Council under former Governor Bola Tinubu, former Head of Service, Deputy State Chairman of the APC, member of the Governance Advisory Council, and Apex Leader of the APC in Badagry Federation.
He was widely known for his humility, integrity, and commitment to public service, leaving behind a legacy of leadership that continues to inspire many across Lagos State.
