The Nigerian Navy has intercepted over 6,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) during a sting operation along the Badagry–Ajara corridor in Lagos State.

According to Navy Captain Abiodun Folorunsho, personnel from Forward Operating Base (FOB) Badagry acted on intelligence reports and uncovered 240 jerrycans (25 litres each) of petrol cleverly concealed and prepped for illegal movement through the Badagry border waterways.
The seized products have been evacuated to FOB Badagry for further processing under standard procedures.
The operation is part of the Navy’s intensified crackdown on smuggling networks who divert petroleum products through maritime routes. Officials say they will maintain pressure across strategic border corridors to deny criminal networks any room to operate.
