Omoyele Sowore, a human rights advocate, has criticized Nigeria’s rotating president system, arguing that the nation just needs effective leadership.
Sowore made this claim on Tuesday when making an appearance as a guest on Channels Television’s breakfast program, “Sunrise Daily.” Regardless of his geographic location, the nation should be interested in a president who will manage Nigeria more effectively, according to the former presidential contender.
“I don’t care where he comes from as long as I have a good president in Nigeria who can lead this nation well. “The vast majority of Nigerians aspire to that. All federating units should be allowed to have an opportunity, according to the federation’s concept,” he stated.
He added that every presidential aspirants should be given a chance irrespective of their region.
